Dropped off the car Monday before close. Explained that I needed the vehicle by Thursday. I had a leak and some transmission code errors. Got a call Wednesday afternoon that they had just started. Asked them to try and finish before the end of next day. Got a call Thursday that the leak was fixed but they did not have the skills to fix the codes. As a result I will have to miss going down south for mother's day. I do not recommend.

When I called about getting an oil change on my transmission giving the model of the car , transmission model and car , I was given a $250 quote, once I got there , it seemed like no one was at the front desk , waited about 10 minutes till somebody came and asked what I needed so I said I had an appointment and then he went on writing the estimated cost for $480 , so I said no and walked out. Wasted my time !

I was stranded in a parking lot even after AAA couldn't get my Jeep out of the space or get it into gear. They couldn't get a lift tow until the next day but access was to conducive for a large flat bed. I arranged for a ride home and started a search to find a tow truck and arrange for a ride to my vehicle. I found All Automatic Transmissions and left an e-mail for a return call. Larry called me within minutes of opening and immediately understood the situation. I met Rudy at the location and he immediately diagnosed the problem and managed a MacGyver quick fix to get me tot he shop. No tow needed. I was waiting at the shop for some news so I could arrange for a pick up and miraculously. the Jeep was fixed and I was on my way. In just 3 hours from the phone call, I was happily shopping at Costco and didn't have to inconvenience anyone to come to get me. After several hours of stress waiting for AAA with no solution provided the night before, and worries about how to make plans for a repair, all worries melted away as soon as Rudy got me on the road and met me at the shop. Larry, at reception, was a calming influence and I was grateful for his concern right from the initial phone call and prompt repair. Thank you for your commitment to excellence. Dee M.

Fast service, busy place. Traffic that intersects with Brundage Ln makes parking with access into the Lobby challenging. Update 11/24, Still 5 star. I've done business here on 3 separate occasions, recently spending $2500. Although not recommended by a close friend of whom had issues with ALL AUTOMATIC 's warranty I myself under similar circumstances found them to be fair & overall accommodating. We were on our way to Albuquerque from San Jose when we got off to get gas. We noticed the transmission was slipping. Before we knew it we realized we needed to replace the transmission. We went to three shops and called another two before finding All Automatic Transmission. We talked with them telling them what was going on. We walked in at 3:00 pm. They pulled the car into one of their 22 bays, dropped the transmission pan and showed us all the metal and very dark fluid. Yes, we were sad but relieved we did not break down in the middle of the desert with no cell service. I asked if they had the transmission in stock and we walked into the shop with Garrett and sure enough they had a rebuilt one on their shelf. We also needed a torque converter, but Danny, the owner was able to get one. We were in shock that we were driving out at 6:00 pm. Yes, it only took 3 hours from the time we arrived to the time we left. The next day, just as we arrived in Albuquerque, we received a call. It was Joel, asking if we arrived safely. Wow! What great customer service. Thank you all at All Automatic Transmission! You made it possible to get us back on the road in only 3 hours. Special shout out to Joel, Go Giants! LOL (we are happy for you that the Dodgers made it to the World Series and we are rooting for them).

I highly recommend ALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. I recently took a trip out of town & had major issues with my car. I was referred to ALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, on White Lane. Jimmy helped me get to the bottom of my car issues. Me being a female, I greatly appreciate him. I had transmission problems with my 2015 AudiQ5 for almost a year. I took my car to the local Audi dealership & they recommended a lot of work to be done to my car. The dealer's recommendations were not necessary, not to mention expensive. Jimmy and his team took their time and did a thorough inspection and figured out all the issues. They kept complete communication with me and kept me in the loop with everything. Very thorough. I took my 1995 Chrysler Town and Country into this shop when I suspected transmission issues despite the transmission having been replaced by another shop in the Bay Area around 15,000 miles ago. They did several diagnostic checks and found nothing wrong. When I came to take vehicle back, it would not start. They jumped into diagnostics immediately and found that the auto shutdown relay had melted- this is what was causing the problem all along. They also found a loose bolt on a motor mount. They had these issues repaired in 30 minutes and sent me on the road for minimal cost. This was after I had given them basically a blank check and said “repair the vehicle at any cost, it’s priceless to me and I have the money.” Let this be a lesson for anyone doubting their recommendations- if they say your vehicle needs something, it needs it. They aren’t pulling your leg. They are an experienced, honest, no nonsense shop. If you’re looking for answers in Bakersfield regarding your transmission issues, come here and save yourself the time and headache of trying anywhere else that may give you the runaround. My van drives perfectly now.

I had an issue with my Honda Pilots transmission. I was prepared after doing my research to pay for another transmission. Ultimately they were able to get it fixed for thousand less. They also fixed my acuras complicated transmission. I don’t think they’re the cheapest in town but I do think they’re honest which is more important. One of the only shops I trust.

One my way home from work one Friday my check engine like had came on. Prior to this I had my oil changed at teeters and they recommended all automatic transmission for a transmission service since my transmission was sealed. I called all automatic and spoke with Jimmy. He had just closed up and said they would be back in Monday. Monday morning rolls around and I drop my car off. That afternoon he calls me and lets me know he doesn't seem any issues but would like to keep my car a little longer I told him that was fine. The next day he called me with my issue. My fuse box had came loose which was causing my car to stall. He got it taken care of so I asked for them to service the transmission while it was there. Some shops will tell you anything to get money out of you and this place is so honest. I would highly recommend this shop. Thanks Jimmy!!!

I took my truck there to have them rebuilt my 2004 GMC sierra 2500 transmission. I got it back and it was shifting very hard I took it back to them. They said they replaced the transmission. It’s still shifted hard I took it back. Several times they told me they didn’t know what was wrong with it got 30,000 miles on it and the shaft broke would not recommend all automatic.
