We were neighbors first

For years Handley's Auto Repair and All Automatic Transmission ran side by side, next door to one another. Bob Handley did general auto repair. We did transmissions, and had since 1956. Plenty of drivers in southwest Bakersfield used both, often for the same car.

When Bob partnered with All Automatic Transmission, the business did not close and it did not move across town. It moved next door, into our shop, and it runs under the AAT name today. So the address to come to is 7001 White Ln, and the work Handley's was known for is still being done there.

That is also why this particular shop is stronger on general repair than a transmission specialist usually is. It is two businesses' worth of experience in one building. A general shop that finds a transmission problem normally has to send the car somewhere. This one does not.
