Suspension rarely fails suddenly. It degrades, and the first honest evidence is usually the tires, which is why we look at them before anything else.
Cupping across the tread points at dampers. Wear on the inner or outer edge points at alignment, which points at geometry, which points at what is worn underneath. The tire is the symptom; something else is the cause.
Alignment is part of the job, not an upsell
New components change the geometry they sit in. Fitting control arms or struts and sending the vehicle out on the old alignment wears the new parts and the tires at the same time.
So the alignment comes after the repair. That is not an extra we suggest at the counter, it is the second half of doing the work properly.
